2 Corinthians: Treasure in Clay Jars

Our latest sermon series…

Why does life feel so hard much of the time? And far from faith in Jesus making life easier, often it seems to make it harder – it certainly did for the apostle Paul. Nowhere else does he bare his soul in quite the way he does in 2 Corinthians. He describes his life as a clay jar – outwardly unattractive, fragile, broken. And yet he, and all believers in Jesus, have within that clay jar the incredible treasure that is the good news about Jesus. Over the spring term we’ll be learning what it means for us to have treasure in clay jars.
