Today we’re beginning a new sermon series. Usually at Emmanuel, we work through books of the bible, but now and again, we do something slightly different and think about particular themes for our bible talks. That’s what we’re going to do for the next couple of months as we start our new series called Truth to live by. Each week, we’ll be focusing in on 1 or 2 verses; seeing them in their biblical context and seeing the bible truths that they teach us for us to hold onto. Today Richard helped us to see that God is good as we heard the words from the bible book of Exodus The LORD, the LORD, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness.
