We love having students as part of Emmanuel Church Bramcote. Around a dozen students have us as their spiritual home in Nottingham.
If you’re looking for a Bible-centred church where, rather than being one of a crowd, you can be one of the church family then Emmanuel might be worth giving a try. For our students at Emmanuel we seek to know you individually, love you, teach you, look after you… oh and feed you; we’re big on food at Emmanuel!
Usually we run a fortnightly student group called Rooted, but while we are restricted in meeting in larger groups, we are seeking to look after our students on a more individual basis. Where possible our students are meeting in small groups to do online church together on a Sunday morning, and having regular Zoom meetings all together. Paul and I still love having students round to our house for meals!
Because we view our students as part of the church family, we encourage you to get involved in all aspects of church family life. This includes being part of our Connect Groups and serving within the church family. Some students are involved in the music group, others with children’s work and others as part of the welcome team.
Bramcote is a couple of miles away from University of Nottingham Park campus.
The i4 bus run by Trent Barton will drop you just a few hundred metres from Bramcote College where our Sunday services are. You want the stop opposite Bramcote Lesire Centre BR0054. It’s then just a stroll up Moor Lane. Bramcote College is on your left, here’s how to find us.
If you’re in FB, Willoughby, Cavendish, Ancaster, Nightingale, Rutland, Sherwood, Derby or Broadgate Park you want to get the bus from UN17 Wollaton Park Gates on the A52.
If you’re in Lenton, Lincoln, Cripps or Hu Stu you want UN16 Lenton Hall.
Alternatively, we’d be happy to give you a lift. Let us know.
