We’re not able to meet together as church family today and for the coming weeks. Although, by necessity, we have to stay apart physically, we’re standing together to love, support and encourage one another. So, in around 90 different homes, we’ll sing the same songs, pray the same prayers and look together at God’s word to us, as we look to Revelation 5 as we continue new sermon series called The Priority of Praise. There are some activities for those aged 14 or under to do and a bible talk from Richard for us to listen to.

WELCOME AND OPENING PRAYER
In this first song we praise Jesus, who the bible describes as the Lamb, for saving us.
Crown him with many crowns
the Lamb upon his throne,
while heaven’s eternal anthem drowns
all music but its own!

of him who died to be
your Saviour and your matchless King

Let’s praise Jesus for conquering death by his resurrection from death!
How can it be, the one who died,
has borne our sin through sacrifice
to conquer every sting of death?

when Christ’s disciples lift their eyes.

BIBLE READING – Revelation 5:1-14
5 Then I saw in the right hand of him who was seated on the throne a scroll written within and on the back, sealed with seven seals. 2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the scroll and break its seals?” 3 And no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll or to look into it, 4 and I began to weep loudly because no one was found worthy to open the scroll or to look into it. 5 And one of the elders said to me, “Weep no more; behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered, so that he can open the scroll and its seven seals.”
