BIBLE READING
In this reading from the Bible, Moses urges God’s people to listen to him and understand what God is like.
Deuteronomy 32:1-4
“Listen, you heavens, and I will speak;
hear, you earth, the words of my mouth.
Let my teaching fall like rain
and my words descend like dew,
like showers on new grass,
like abundant rain on tender plants.
I will proclaim the name of the LORD.
Oh, praise the greatness of our God!
He is the Rock, his works are perfect,
and all his ways are just.
A faithful God who does no wrong,
upright and just is he.”
SONG
In our next song we celebrate how good and faithful our God is.
BITESIZE 2

PRAYERS led by Angela Godfrey
SONG

CHILDREN’S INTRO, READING and BIBLE TALK
In the next video Helen introduces the children’s material for today, Andy reads the Bible passage which Richard then speaks on.
Psalm 11
11:1 In the Lord I take refuge;
how can you say to my soul,
“Flee like a bird to your mountain,
2 for behold, the wicked bend the bow;
they have fitted their arrow to the string
to shoot in the dark at the upright in heart;
3 if the foundations are destroyed,
what can the righteous do?”
4 The Lord is in his holy temple;
the Lord’s throne is in heaven;
his eyes see, his eyelids test the children of man.
5 The Lord tests the righteous,
but his soul hates the wicked and the one who loves violence.
6 Let him rain coals on the wicked;
fire and sulphur and a scorching wind shall be the portion of their cup.
7 For the Lord is righteous;
he loves righteous deeds;
the upright shall behold his face.
