The Promise Of A Child

Saturday evening was the first of our Carols by Candlelight services. As Nathan preached, we heard how the prophet Isaiah tells of the birth of Jesus:

“The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light… For unto us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder…! (Isaiah 9:2 and 6)
