Our ultimate purpose at Emmanuel Church Bramcote is to glorify God.
What does that mean? Well, we want to live in a way which reflects who God is to all those around us, and which reflects delight at being part of God’s family.

We believe that we do this as we seek to…
- REACH OUT – we want to tell everyone what God has done in Jesus and give them a chance to explore faith for themselves.
- BUILD UP – we want to help one another grow in our relationship with God, so that we know Jesus better and prayerfully live in a way which reflects his plan for us.
- SEND OUT – we want to encourage and train every Christian to use their God-given gifts in his service, and to send people out into our community and through the world to tell others about who Jesus is.
Our values
Emmanuel Church Bramcote is an evangelical church. This means that we hold to some key values and beliefs about who God is and what that means for us. These values are:
- The heart of Christian ministry is Jesus and his death on the cross. We believe that the message of the cross is God’s way of saving people from his coming judgement.
- The way of Christian ministry is through prayerful teaching of the Bible. We believe that it is as the Bible is taught in the power of God’s Holy Spirit that God’s voice is heard today,
- The focus of Christian ministry is the local church. We believe that it is primarily through the local church that unbelievers are brought to faith in Christ and believers are built up to be more like him.
