We meet every Sunday at 10:30am, at Bramcote College, Moor Lane, NG9 3GA.
Morning Service
Our normal morning services start at 10:30am (or just after). We meet in the school hall at Bramcote College, which is just through the foyer by the main front doors. In every service, there’ll be a selection of Christian songs, a time of prayer, a reading from the Bible and a Bible talk. There’ll often be news and details of what’s happening in the next month.
Our services will be led by a church member, often one of our Leadership Team, and members of the church family will be involved in various different ways. After our service, all are welcome to stay for a good coffee or cup of tea, and a selection of cakes and biscuits. It is a great time to get to know one another and the church.

What should I wear?
There is no need to dress smartly to come to one of our services – unless you want to! People tend to dress pretty informally. We believe that God doesn’t mind what we wear on the outside, but is focused on what we think on the inside – and he sent Jesus to help us with that.
Are children welcome in a morning service?
Yes! We love to see children in our services, and most weeks we run groups for children aged 0-14 as well. Children start in the service and the service leader will let you know when it is time for them to leave. The groups aim to be safe, fun places where children can learn about Jesus in a way that is appropriate for them. All of our children’s group leaders have DBS checks and have undergone relevant safeguarding training. To find out more about what we offer for children, click here.
How long is a service, and what should I expect?
Our services are normally about an hour and 15 minutes long, but we tend to stay together for a while after the service is over to chat, drink tea and coffee. As for what to expect – why don’t you watch this video to see what a normal Sunday looks like at Emmanuel Church Bramcote.

All-age Services
A few times a year, our service is an All-age service. In these services all ages stay together for the whole service, and they usually last for less than an hour. In these services, the bible talk will often be shorter and will be relevant to children as well as adults.
There will often be an activity that families can complete together. All-age services are often really appreciated by those who are exploring the Christian faith, as they help to make big concepts of belief a bit easier to understand. (next to picture of children)
The Lord’s Supper Services
Roughly once a month we will share The Lord’s Supper during our service. In the Bible, Jesus commanded his followers to remember his death on the cross together by eating bread (which symbolises his broken body) and sharing wine (which symbolises his spilled blood). This usually takes place near the end of the service, and the service leader will let you know at the time what is happening and why.
This is an act of remembrance that anyone who would call themselves a Christian is welcome to join us in. Please feel no pressure to take part, however. It is fine simply to watch and to let the bread and wine pass you by.
At Emmanuel, the bread we share is gluten free, and the wine is non-alcoholic.
