Sundays

Our services are at 10.30 a.m. each Sunday.  They’re at Bramcote College on Moor Lane, NG9 3GA. Here’s how to find us.

Services

There’s no need to dress smartly to come to one of our services. People generally dress pretty informally. They’ll usually be some people wearing shorts… even in January! Our services start at 10.30 or a bit after. There’s tea and coffee (good coffee!) on arrival and indeed throughout the service.

Services last about 1¼ hours. They’re usually led by one of the church leadership team. Services normally include songs led by the band, prayers, some info slots, a bible reading and a talk from the bible, again usually given by a member of the leadership team.
Songs and talk headings get projected onto the screen at the front. There’s also a printed service sheet so you know what’s going to happen next. At the end there’s more tea and coffee and cake; lots of cake!

Children

Children start in the service and go to their own groups 10-15 minutes in. There are groups for children aged 0-14. The groups aim to be safe, fun places where children can learn about Jesus. It’s fine for parents to go out to the relevant group if that would help children settle.

A few times a year our service is an All Age service. All ages stay together for the whole service and they last less than an hour.

Emmanuel Church Bramcote has a strong child protection policy. All of our leaders have been properly checked with the appropriate organisations and are well trained and experienced. Our groups are coordinated by Helen Hawley who is our Youth & Children’s work coordinator.
